(1909-1938) Postcard with the original signature of the German motorsport legend Bernd Rosemeyer from 1936, 15x10 cm. --The postcard shows the Hotel Schramm in Daun / Eifel. Bernd Rosemeyer stayed in this hotel on the occasion of the 1936 German Grand Prix at the Nürburgring. We were unable to assign the second signature to "Mrs. Schäfer", probably a companion or personal assistant to Rosemeyer. The postcard comes from the family of the former owner of the Hotel Schramm. Rosemeyer was one of the most popular and successful German Grand Prix racers before World War II. He had a fatal accident on January 28, 1938 during a world speed record attempt on the Berlin AVUS race track. One of the most sought after German automobile autographs!!!! Condition: B
